Grant Leishman
Grant is a veteran author who resides in the Philippines. The oldest member of the team, but yet without him the nation may not have been born.
What can we say about this man? Well for starters he is a full-time writer who has been on the Amazon's bestseller list. He is the author of The Second Coming book series and he has published 4 other works as well, which you can check out by clicking here. He has a book that is ready to be released this coming month, which will be the final book of The Second Coming Series called Holy War. This man's dream was first recognized when he was first eight years old and he told his mother, "I'm going to be an author!" After many years, three years ago this man decided to after his dream of being a published author. All we can say is that it's never too late to start on working towards your dreams. That was three years ago and now his dream is finally being realized, reading his book "The Photograph" shows this man has a talent for writing books that cannot be ignored. Although he looks like he's a middle-aged man, well that's because he is. However, his attitude is not of a middle-aged man. In fact, Grant is tired of older, more veteran authors shooting down the new upcoming authors who can build the future of the literary world. For an old man to support the younger new authors with writing advice and words of encouragement, we can't help but give this man a huge hug! Grant and Hybrid Nation founder, Angel met on LinkedIn by chance. Grant decided to read Angel's first novel "The Thousand Years War" and at first was scared off by the fact the book was written in a street/urban tone, but then grew amazed that this novel was written by someone who had lived a completely different lifestyle than he did. At that point, he decided he had no right to judge a book just because it doesn't follow an orthodox format that was sent by the baby-boomers. What really gave Angel the idea to start was this a blog post that Grant wrote in the beginning of September, where he declared he was sick and tired of young authors being judged by "Traditional Publishers". He also praised Angel for his efforts and gave Angel the title of "A Man on A Mission". At that point, Angel worked towards building the Hybrid Nation, where there are no authors that stick to just one genre. To read that blog post click here.
