Life's a Beach Post: Glooba Chameleon

As a survivor of Hurricane Maria, I'm so thrilled to be back on the writing frenzy. So far God has blessed me with numerous sales of my Thousand Years War GameLit/LitFPS book series. If you been following me, I was working on a new LitFPS/LitRPG spinoff series adding some RPG elements to the story. There is a post on the website about what the book will be about so Click Here for the article. Technically this will be the fourth book of the series, but in reality this will be an "expansion pack" or those not familiar with game terms, this will be an expansion story off the first book of the series.

Today I will be introducing what will be a new enemy to the series that will be introduced in this expansion pack off the first book. This creature will only be found in the Life's a Beach book of the series, enjoy!

This new creature is called the Glooba Chameleon, seems like the gloobas decided to experiment on the local lizard population in Puerto Rico. The gloobas preyed upon the poor chameleons and infected them with the "Devil Juice".

As a result what you get is above, a human like creature. However, their tatics or way of living are anything but human. They are armed with plasma cannons that deal out a decent amount of damage to their victims. Some of the creatures were infected so badly that their spit is poisonious and deadly if a human is exposed to the spit.

One of their special abilities is one that an actual chameleon can perform, which is to camouflage themselves by changing their color to fit the enviroment they're in. As a result these already deadly creatures become even more dangerous when one is unable to even spot them.

The second ability they have is their long arms and tail that they can use to take down their targets. Their arms have a special adhesive that they use to grab their victims and keep them in their grasps. If one is grabbed by one of these guys it can be near impossible to break out. Sometimes these guys can perform this ability in pairs of two and double-team their targets.

Let's just say these guys are deadly in groups, luckily they're only found in certain enviroments such as the El Yunque Rainforest and the glooba headquarters. However this could be a plot to expand the subrace into other parts of Earth that the Gloobas wish to have for themselves.
