Angel's Journal: Love is in the Air

(Well on this rainy Sunday in New York, its only appropriate that we dig into a nicer part of our hero's hidden journal. As you read this poem, you'll see that the journal is not all negative and depressing. This is actually an entry before our hero meets his wife Maria. Hope you guys enjoy this little easter egg.)

January 9th, 2015

Oh Maria my heart and soul

You make my life so fun to live

I known you since we were just teenagers

The days we played dodgeball in your yard with your brothers

I was always king of the mountain then

I saw your eyes always staring at me

I was looking at you as well like you were my heaven

I know I can't rhyme for nothing, but I try

I want us to fly

Oh crap I actually rhymed

I feel you are a better girl than what people label you as

If I had a chance I would tell you, but honestly I'm a nervous wreck

As nervous to the point where I think I'm a car wreck

Damn though you're a fine looking girl

With that beautiful jet black hair

Your sexy skirts you wear everyday

Those red-bottom heels you wear

That smile you give me everyday when you're walking by.

You sure you don't like me?

Who am I kidding, I haven't even gotten the balls to ask.

Here I go...

Maria your eyes are so beautiful, those blue eyes

Those eyes light up my mind like we should be in the mountain looking at the skies

Kissing passionately

You brighten up my day when things look dark for me

The little talks we have give me the idea that I still have a reason to live

Even if my family doesn't talk to me like that anymore

Even if I'm the cause of my family issues

Even when I think of my dead parents

You're always there to console me and tell me I have to be strong

Maria I love you and I hope...

I hope you will take me as your Valentine

And maybe even more as we get to know each other better

Love is indeed in the air

And I'm totally feeling pink for you, Maria

Ah... it's such a great feeling, even if I managed to butcher this poem and break every rule of poem writing

Maria to you my future wife and partner in crime.
