My Plans for 2018!

This is the last blog post of 2017 as we roll into 2018! So I would like to put 2017 in the past and tell you what I have planned for 2018. I hope all of you have big plans for 2018 as well.
For those who follow me, I have finished the first draft of the new installment of the Horror/GameLit book series, Angel's Nightmare Adventure. It is titled, Nemesis and it promises to have some cool innovative gaming elements such as ammo crafting and a health system that pays homage to the Resident Evil gaming series. It will also be my first book with a Female MC that will be the lone survivor. Should be interesting, she might look good, but she can kicks some butt. I plan to get a cover some time this week and put it on pre-order this week or next. The release date will be Early February.
After that I'm teaming up with other authors on a GameLit box set that will release in March. I cannot say what story I will be writing as I want to keep it a surprise until everything in finalized. However, I will say this much, it will be something from The Thousand Years War Series. More than likely it will be another side quest. So lookout for that as well.
Speaking of The Thousand Years War, the new book will be worked on after the horror and box set release. The title of the new book of the series will be named "The Thousand Years War: Duke it out in DC" and will take place in Washington D.C. There will be alot of room of changes and possibly a total change in the story as I'm running a contest. For more information about the "Be a Character" contest Click Here. The next book of the series will probably be out for Late Spring into Early Summer.
After that I plan to enter the non-fiction market. You might not know, but I'm a freelance electrician and I do side work fixing people's electrical wiring. So I want to start a series called "Idiot Proof Home Electrical". I will show you how you can fix basic electrical issues from basic theory and wire colors to fixing bad outlets and light fixtures. If the series becomes popular enough, I will get into more advanced topics such as circuit breakers and installing a new sub-panel. Like I said this series will be driven by how popular it gets, so you my readers get to decide whether this becomes my next big series or if I should get back to full-time fiction. Should be another interesting experiment.
For people asking me about the Janus series, I know I had planned to continue the series. However, for me I had intended this to be an experimential series and never really had intentions to make this a major thing. While I have gotten praise and many great reviews, the Janus series is up in the air. It's not that I don't like the series or that it sucks, it's simply the demand is greater for my horror/scifi/GameLit works. In fact, I've become well known for my GameLit/LitFPS and especially my horror books. That doesn't mean I'm retiring the Janus Series, but that will be something I will work on if I have spare time. After I get my non-fiction series out there, I'll probably wing it and see what comes out next. Of course, like I keep saying it will depend on what my fans want the most.
