Character Profile: Nicolai Putin

I have some news guys. I have finished my first edit through of the third book of the series titled, Nemesis. I even formatted the paperback version as well, however that is nowhere close to being ready. The cover will be revealed soon as it's being worked on now. The Kindle is still planned to be out for pre-order next week. For now, I like to present the first of the character profile's series for the upcoming book of the series.

Our first character will be Nicolai Putin, of course we will be avoiding spoilers. So while you will learn about the character before the book comes out, you won't learn anything that will give the story away. Enjoy!

Nicolai is the leader of the Bravo team of the HBCS or the Hybrid Bio-Hazard Countermeasure Service. He's in charge of a squad that has been ordered by Hybrid to rescue survivors from what is now the third zombie outbreak in East New York. He is middle-aged, around 45 and is from Croatia. He has a very strong Slavic accent and was raised in the Balkans before he moved to the United States at the age of 40.

When he got to the states, he was offered a job with the Hybrid Corporation. Although they're based out of Croatia, they have expanded towards the United States at a rapid pace. He was hired as a member of the HBCS to defend should any of Hybrid's experiments become out of control and begin to endanger the public.

He is bullish in nature and tends to push his weight around towards his squad. Not to mention he is arrogant and seems to be indifferent to the situation that is taking place in Cypress Hills. At first he seems to be helpful towards Maria in helping her escape her hometown. However, as the book goes Maria and Danny become suspicious that he has something to hide. However, Danny keeps an open mind that it could just be the stress and age of Nicolai catching up.

He is not well liked by the other supervisors such as Richard and many at Hybrid feel that Nicolai gets special treatment. A handful members of the HBCS feel that Nicolai is really a supervisor probing within the ranks of the HBCS. Also George Fisher, a tabolid writer has been keeping his eyes on Nicolai carefully. He believe that Nicolai is involved in a much greater conspiracy and he's the kind of person who looks out for himself.

He wears a green tatical jacket, which is the uniform for the HBCS. He carrys a .45 pistol and a survival knife. The harsh part of Croatia he's from has shown him some critical survival skills. Being from the mountains of Croatia, he knows how to defend himself even through the toughest of situations.
