Angel's Nightmare Adventure Post: The Highland Reservior

The Highland Reservior was a working reservior providing water to the residents of Cypress Hills and North tip of East New York. It was closed in the early 1980's due to the improved water system in NYC. For close to 30 years the Reservior was left in disrepair and Upper Highland became an area for people looking to make out or gang activity. The city of New York did invest money in the early 2000's to modernize and invested in a flower garden. It's safe to say the quality of life improved greatly for the residents of the peaceful town of Cypress Hills.

However, in 2007 a company brought the land from the city of New York and the town of Cypress Hills. People at first were suspicious because the deal had happened so sudden. Later a man known as George Fisher wanted to find out who was behind the deal and come to find out, it was the Hybrid Corporation who had brought the land. The Hybrid Corporation told the public their intentions were to restore the reservior and give the residents access to pure clean water.

At first the project was applauded by the residents of Cypress Hills. However, after the events of the second outbreak in 2012 and the sudden desire to install high security fences, people became suspicious of what Hybrid was doing. In fact, Upper Highland became off-limits to the residents. Despite numerous complaints from residents, the NYPD, and George himself the town and city refused to investigate.

That lack of action would leave Hybrid the opportunity to do whatever they wanted with the reservoir. Also, the people were becoming aware of Hybrid being the one responsible for the first two bio-hazard outbreaks. However, with no evidence of their intentional acts they were let go with no action being taken. That began conspiracy theories that had Hybrid conducting secret experiments in the main building in the sub-basement. One even went as far as accusing them of intending to poison the water supply with the Broken Arrow virus.

One thing is for sure, when Maria explores the reservior she will find out that the reservior is indeed not being used for the correct intentions. The problem is, even she might be shocked at what the Hybrid Corporation is using the facility for. Hint: Zombies and even the bio-hazard creatures that lurk there are only the beginning.
