In this edition of my blog, I will be talking about the 4th region of the realm of DinoRule. This region is known as Neptune and it plays host to the mysterious Wind Temple. Neptune is regarded as one of the most dangerous regions of DinoRule due to its unpredictable weather patterns. Neptune has easily the coldest climate in all of DinoRule and contrary to its name to a Roman Water God, Neptune is actually rather barren in nature.
The terrain in Neptune is unsuitable to human life and as a result there is no human interaction in the region. Instead the area is used by daredevils and travelers to claim their fame in climbing Mount Neptune. Mount Neptune is the biggest mountain range in the region of DinoRule, but also the coldest. In fact, when the winds come from Neptune, an ultra rare occurrance, temperatures become super cold. In fact, the last time the wind came from Neptune, DinoRule was subject to a long painful ice age.
During the ice age, many dinosaurs were unable to keep warm and perished. Also, the berbers who live in the desert to the west were nearly wiped out for good. The climate in Neptune is similar to a tundra where most of the precipitation falls as snow or ice pellets. What makes the trek up Mount Neptune is the fierce winds that can reach up to 200 mph or at least that is according to legend.

The biggest draw for brave travelers to Mount Neptune is the wind temple and to meet the legendary wind sage. The wind sage is known as the wise man who used to be named George. He was the first teacher in the history of DinoRule, he was considered the smartest man in all of the realm. There was another side of George that people were unaware of. He was also an avid traveler who would go on risky adventures during the times school was not in session. Despite his old age, he was fit for his age.
One day, George went to the Northern most part of DinoRule. In fact, George is credited for discovering the region of Neptune. The actual Wind Temple remains a mystery on how it was built. It might have been built even before DinoRule even existed by the aborginals of the land. After all, how a structure such as the wind temple was able to be built on a dangerous land with winds close to 200 MPH.
The wind temple is regarded as the one of the most mysterious temples in all of DinoRule next to the Shadow Temple and the Temple of Death.
Neptune is located to the north and west of the town of Phoenicia. The locals says that one must have armor that is able to keep the person warm during the long climb up to the wind temple. Another legend says that there are a pair of heavy iron boots that will keep even the most skinnest person standing under the dangerous power of the winds. One must find those boots if they are to have even a small shot of getting up to the wind temple.

As one goes up Mount Neptune, the brave traveler will find itself fighting Iguanodons. These dinosaurs used to be warm blooded in nature, but as the years went by they adapted to the cold. They now thrive in the deep cold and no longer die under the cold weather. With the lack of vegetation, one must wonder how these dinosaurs survive. The answer is that they rely on cannablism, they eat some of the smaller species.
Iguanodons are considered distant cousins to the monitor lizards that live in the Jungle region. The attack with their claws and can sometimes leave a nasty bite. Another dinosaur species is the Pteranodon which is similar to the Pterodactyl, but it can survive the brutal climate of Mount Neptune.
If one manages to survive the climb to the top of Mount Neptune, they will have the honor of exploring the wind temple. Not much is known about the inside, since the last person to visit explored the temple 500 years ago.

Zinrokh is the name of the legendary dinosaur that resides in the wind temple. The only person to see this great pteranodon is George the Wind Sage. This is all in legends, tall tales, and ancient writings however. Legend also says that Neptune was a region full of water as well as seen above. This is the only picture of Zinrokh that can be seen in all of DinoRule. Many have tried, but they have all perished to go and see this legendary dinosaur.
In the wind temple, there are said to be dead soldiers that were travelers that tried to visit the temple come back alive.
Zinrokh has two main attacks. They are a wing attack and an attack that blows wind to the target. However, since Zinrokh is only a legend there are probably more attacks than listed here.
Neptune is indeed a mysterious land cover in snow and ice. However, if the Hero of DinoRule is able to survive the climb it will be rewarded with a meeting with the great wise man, George the Sage.
